Sweden and Ukraine Forge New Path in AI Governance: Stockholm Event Unites Board Leaders

Swedish AI Association and Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Announce Keynote Collaboration at Stockholm AI Governance Event
Stockholm, Sweden & Kyiv, Ukraine – May 22, 2025 – The Swedish AI Association (AICenter) and the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine are pleased to announce that Danylo Tsvok, Chief AI Officer of the Ministry and CEO of the WINWIN AI Center of Excellence, will deliver the opening keynote at “The Board's Role in AI Transformation: Leadership in the Digital Era,” held at the Grand Hotel Stockholm.
This high-level event brings together directors of the board from leading Swedish companies to explore the board’s pivotal role in AI adoption, strategy, and governance. Danylo Tsvok’s keynote, “How AI is Governed and Harnessed in Ukraine,” will share practical insights from Ukraine’s national approach to AI, including rapid implementation and scaling of AI initiatives across government and business-even under the extraordinary circumstances of war. His address will offer lessons and inspiration for Swedish boards and business leaders on leading, overseeing, and benefiting from AI-driven digital transformation.

Danylo leads the practical integration of AI in the public sector in Ukraine. As the head of the AI Center of Excellence, he is behind developing a large Ukrainian language model, forming a national AI strategy, and developing AI products for the government and defense. He is also responsible for building AI infrastructure in Ukraine, fostering partnerships with global tech leaders, and supporting the growth of AI startups. Danylo has a PhD in Economics and over 12 years of experience in technology and innovation management in the public and business sectors.
