Become a Guest Author

Introduction

Welcome to AI Perspectives, a publication by The Swedish AI Association (AICenter). We publish weekly AI-related insights and are now inviting guest authors to contribute their unique perspectives.

To ensure a smooth process and maintain high-quality content, we have established the following guidelines for guest authors.

How to Become a Guest Author

  1. Request to Contribute: Send an email to admin@aicenter.se with:

    • Your proposed topic.

    • A short paragraph explaining or motivating your article idea.

  2. Approval Process: We will review your proposal and respond with feedback or approval.

  3. Create a Substack Account: If approved, you must:

    • Create an account on Substack with your full professional name and a profile photo.

    • Send us your Substack profile link.

  4. Add to AI Perspectives Team: We will add you as a guest contributor on AI Perspectives.

  5. Write and Submit: After approval, write your article following the content guidelines and submit it to admin@aicenter.se for scheduling.

Content Guidelines

Topic Focus

  • Articles should focus on AI-related topics.

  • No promotional content or advertisements for commercial products/services.

  • Content should be insightful, thought-provoking, and based on personal perspectives, experiences, or well-supported opinions.

  • Controversial claims must be backed by credible sources.

Length & Structure

  • Word Count: At least 1250 words for an in-depth exploration of the topic.

  • Headings: Use clear and concise headings to organize content (limit to 1-2 levels deep).

  • Introduction: Provide context and introduce the article (1-2 paragraphs).

  • Conclusion: Summarize key takeaways and closing thoughts.

Title & Subtitle

  • Provide a compelling title and subtitle that accurately reflects the content and engages readers.

Originality

  • The article must be original and not published elsewhere.

Voice & Tone

  • Maintain a professional, yet engaging writing style.

  • Avoid excessive jargon and keep language clear and accessible.

Formatting & Readability

  • Use short paragraphs, bullet points, and visuals (if applicable) to enhance readability.

Call to Action

  • Encourage reader engagement by inviting discussion, feedback, or further exploration of the topic.

Author Bio

  • Include a short bio at the end, highlighting your expertise and background.

Image Submission

  • If possible, provide a relevant high-quality image (1500x720) to accompany your article.

Submission & Scheduling

  • Once your article is complete, email it to admin@aicenter.se.

  • Guest articles are published on Fridays.

  • We will schedule your article for the next available Friday or a later date if needed.
